Public and Family Programs
The Museum offers family events, film series and video programs, lectures and
gallery talks, concerts and performances, workshops, storytelling sessions and
more throughout the year in conjunction with changing exhibitions and permanent
collections. All are designed to help the general public increase their knowledge
of the arts.
Scheduling a Tour
The Museum offers tours in English and Spanish of the permanent collections
and changing exhibitions, for adults and children. Tour programs are planned
to offer groups the opportunity to discover the special qualities of original
works of art.
Teacher Programs and Resources
Teacher services prepare educators for tours and enable them to use the Museum
collections as primary source material for teaching in various subject areas
and they earn CPE hours for participating in programs.
Community Outreach
The Museum collaborates with local schools and organizations to promote and
provide art education opportunities to the El Paso/Juarez community.
Docent Program
Passionate about art, learn how to become a docent.
Art Classes and Registration
The Museum provides year-round art classes for children and adults.

Foreign Films
The annual Foreign Film series focuses on contemporary classics of world
cinema.
Algur H. Meadows Art Library
The Algur H. Meadows Art Library, located on the first level of the Museum,
houses an art reference library of books on art and art history.
