Create functional or fantastical ceramic pieces. Beginners learn hand-building, wheel throwing, and sculpture techniques; completing the course with basic glazing applications. More experienced students learn new techniques, refine current skills, and develop a personal style. Tuition covers all materials and supplies, including 25 pounds of clay.

Explore fundamentals of acrylic painting. Work from still-life arrangements through multiple painting projects. Students learn the nature and versatility of acrylic paint and technical skills to develop a personal style. Tuition covers basic materials and supplies. Students will need to provide approximately $40 in supplies. A list will be provided.

PAINTING WITH WAX

Explore colored wax as a painting medium. Beginners learn the nature of wax pigments, color theory, and composition to create paintings. Experienced students learn new techniques, refine current skills, and develop a personal style. Students will learn safe use of wax (encaustic) equipment. Tuition covers basic materials and supplies. Students will need to provide approximately $30 in supplies. A list will be provided.
