Create your own Catrina with artist Wayne Hilton! Discover the history of Jose Posada’s, La Catrina, an illustration of an elaborately dressed female skeleton, who symbolizes Day of the Dead, Dia de Los Muertos. As you learn how to create a Catrina figure from recycled materials, you’ll also be guided in how to incorporate the project into your lesson plans. Each student will leave with their very own Catrina. Supplies are included.
