PLANNING A TOUREPMA invites teachers and students to explore the permanent collection and current exhibitions. Tours, offered in English and Spanish, are designed to discover and discuss the special qualities, history and ideas behind works on view. When planning a tour, teachers may include time for sketching or writing assignments in the galleries.
If possible, plan a trip to EPMA for the fall semester as reservation schedules fill up quickly for the spring. To make a reservation, please have the following information:
o lead teacher
o school name
o school district
o grade level(s)
o phone number
o email address
• estimated number of students, teachers, and chaperones (1 adult per 10 students)
• any special needs

Reservations for the 2017-2018 school year will begin August 1.
Schools within El Paso and Dona Ana Counties with the most financial need may apply and be considered for bus transportation funding to the museum. Each school may receive funding for up to four buses.

EPMA’s docents provide guided tours highlighting works from the permanent collection and current exhibitions. Guided tours are available for 10-50 visitors.
Self-guided tours allow your group to explore the galleries at your own pace. Self-guided tours are available to all age levels, for groups of up to 100 visitors. Submit your reservation in advance to ensure the best experience for your group.
TOUR + STUDIO
EPMA’s Museum School offers art-making workshops connected with a gallery tour. Led by our teaching artists, groups explore the galleries followed by a related hands-on art activity in the Museum's fully-equipped studios. Workshops are designed for grades K-12, for groups of 12 to 25 participants. Reserve your Tour + Studio one month in advance Tuition covers all materials and supplies. Tuition: $10.00 for Members, $15.00 for Not-Yet Members.
