Every summer the Museum recruits energetic Museum School volunteers to assist teachers with implementation of lesson plans, organization of classrooms, distribution of snacks, and assisting children to and from the passenger-loading zone to the classrooms.
During summer art camps, volunteer shifts are available Tuesday through Friday mornings 9:15 am to 12:15 pm or afternoons 12:45 - 3:45 pm. Times are subject to change. Weekend shifts are also available depending on enrollment and classes offered.
Anyone 14 years old and over is eligible to volunteer at the City of El Paso.
All volunteers for the City of El Paso are required to read the Volunteer Policy and must complete a Volunteer Application, which will be kept on file in the assigned Department. A background check will be conducted for all volunteers and will be kept on file with the Human Resources Department. Volunteers will not be allowed to start prior to the background check.
